Not to be confused with the Wine Company (which I have yet to try)

I never thought I would be a blogger but I'm glad I tried it out. It took sometime to get used to it and now I can't stop. This is about the day to day excitements of being a mom, wife, daughter, friend, or just a plain woman doing her thing.

**Beware I may cuss, so if you think that I might offend you, don't read.
Thanks for reading. Have a nice day!**

My $100 Hair Straightner!!

This weekend was interesting, I had to go to Defensive Driving Class, it was also funny. The teacher that I had actually put humor into the lesson, which made it go by faster. At the beginning of the class he stated that everyone is here just to get the ticket dismissed, but I went for just a laugh, and said, "This is my vacation out of the house, I get to have a babysitter for 4 hours". LOL Had Spencer and Hayden come by and bring me brunch. Now I've gotta get a N.C. license.
Get home and wanted to kill the dog. (Just note I love animals, it's just an expression) Rebecca, my 65-70 lbs Chocolate Lab ATE MY $100 HAIR STRAIGHTENER!!!! OMG, I wouldn't have cared so much but for that it was $100! Maybe a $30, $20, even those cheapy $10 ones but $100....I was so mad. She also ate the bathroom rug, which I don't care about since we are remodeling the bathroom anyways, just gives me an excuse to go shopping. :)

On another note, I had to clean out the spare room, we are having some guests stay with us for a while. Spencer's buddy from work and his fiance. At least for a month I think, while they search for a house around here since she can't stay in the barracks, also she's 2 months pregnant, so I'm not about to throw a pregnant person out on the street. He will be coming tonight and be picking her up tomorrow from the airport. Can't remember where she is from.

Looks like stuff is starting to look up.

Same Ol' Same

Monday it snowed a really good amount, not sure on how much we got but it covered my tennis shoe. We couldn't make a snowman due to it was so powdery but we were able to make snow angels and throw snow at each other. I got pegged in the face a few times from Spencer and I told him I would get revenge. But I wouldn't say when or how, but I will. (*evil laugh*) Hayden had a blast with it this year, last year he wasn't to sure about it, but this year he still wants to play in it. But for now it's almost all melted.

Nothing else that's new on this end, Spencer goes to work, I stay at home and Hayden runs a muck, hyper and walking on the ceiling. He's definitely a healthy and strong 3 year old, that likes to cause mommy with the need to pull out her hair. I am sooo ready for it to warm up outside so I can send him & the dogs out in the back. And also complete some outside construction work that I didn't get to finish last year.
Wow I can't believe that in March we will be home owners for a full year.

GoodBye 2010

Only 6 days late, lol, but goodbye 2010 you were no fun what so ever. Things like no job, no car, somewhat slowly going in debt, but also not. And most of all the loss of my brother. As I know that 2011 cannot bring him back I hope...more so wish that this New Year is 100x better.

Some New Year's resolutions include:
1. Along everyone else, being more active.
2. Paint the kitchen & bathroom
3. Save money
4. Organize
5. I will spend less than one hour a day on the Internet. This, of course, will be hard to estimate since I'm not a clock watcher.
6. Cut down on junk food (aka Hot Cheetos)
7. Cut down on sodas (aka Dr. Pepper)

Basically my resolutions are the same as everyone else. But as to seeing through them, now that's going to be a talent. And lots of patience. I see maybe half of the them following through.
